Catalunya’s Costa Brava is a majestic stretch of Spain’s Mediterranean coastline, which stretches from the France-Spain border, south towards Barcelona. Visitors love the region for its picturesque Medieval-era towns, beautiful rolling hills, and gorgeous beaches. The area is an easy hour and half drive from Barcelona’s international airport, making this location the perfect place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
With views of the Mediterranean Sea, Hotel Sa Punta is a lovely boutique hotel that sits just a short 5 minute walk to the beautiful beaches and restaurants of Pals, and the infamous Camino de Ronda, a coastal hiking & walking trail.
In addition to the spectacular location, this retreat will include:
Daily breakfast and dinner at Hotel Sa Punta. Meals prepared at the resort restaurant are Mediterranean, wholefoods, creative and healthy, and will include vegetarian / vegan, meat, and seafood options.
Three lunches during the three included group excursions. These will include meat and seafood if desired.
All gratuities for resort staff, tour guides and drivers.
Roundtrip group transportation from Barcelona Airport (BCN) to Hotel Sa Punta
Daily Yoga and meditation with Susan
During this itinerary, three cultural excursions are included that highlight the unique range of experience the region has to offer.
The first full day in Costa Brava, there will be time spent exploring the beautiful coastline, both directly below the retreat center, and on a walk on the nearby coast. Stunning views can be enjoyed from high atop the coastline of the majestic, blue sea. There will be plenty of beach time followed by delicious Spanish tapas at a seaside cafe.
Another day will be spent visiting the cultural and historical city of Girona with an expertly guided tour of the old city and lunch at a delicious local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Salvador Dali Museum in nearby Figueres.
The Costa Brava region is also famous for its medieval villages and local wineries. Included in our retreat is an afternoon touring the quaint, 11th century village of Pals, plus a visit to a local wine cellar with an educational tour, tasting, and lite bites.
Of course, there will be ample free time to simply sit by the pool, read a book, get a massage, or visit another nearby medieval village or local beach.
